Skiing. Skiing is one of the most popular and accessible sports in Russia. It’s attractive not only through the techniques of moving the skis while on a run, but through the chance to contemplate the changing pictures of the winter landscape. An extended muscular effort in the clean air and in low temperatures promotes conditioning of the body, significantly increasing its resistance to different illnesses.
The history of skiing dates back to the third millennium BC. It is said that at that time the first skis were invented, and therefore skiing can boldly claim to be an ancient sport. The first competitions in skiing started to be held in 1867 in Norway, but they only received official recognition 90 years ago, when they became a full component of the Winter Olympics in 1924 in Chamonix, France.
Three races will be held at the Games: individual races, a group start and a relay. Both novices and professionals may take part in the competitions, in distances from 2 to 10 kilometers. Registration

Futsal. A relatively recent invention, futsal has quickly gained a large number of followers. Today, around 30 million people play it, and not just kids – but 30 million men and women of various ages, nationalities, religious persuasions and sexual orientations.Interestingly, a futsal ball has different physical characteristics: Particularly, the bounce of the ball is significantly less than of a ball used in “big” football. The main difference in futsal is the game’s different playing tactics, which are governed by the limited size of the pitch, the smaller number of players and their close contact. Nevertheless, in intensity and excitement, futsal does not yield to its older brother.Registration |
